Following two years of study at the Curry School of Education, University of Virginia, I successfully defended my dissertation research on November 13, 2008.

My area of emphasis is information\instructional technology. I am interested in Web 2.0 technologies and their impact on learning in traditional and non-traditional settings.

I believe that global business and education are converging on an interactive and socially collaborative Web based platform in order to facilitate the acquisition and management of knowledge. Internet-savvy children intuitively grasp this and are unknowing but enthusiastic participants in the rapidly changing, global technology events we see today.
